YHS Band Snowmageddon Rehearsals |
|
Due to our recent Snowmageddon/Snowpocalypse/SnOMG event, many local high schools have prepared for additional rehearsals to make up for lost rehearsal time. In accordance, the Yorktown Bands will have additional "emergency" after-school rehearsals leading up to the District Band Festival.
Please consider attending the District Band Festivals at South Lakes High School to support Yorktown musicians as they strive to become the fourth Virginia Honor Band in Yorktown High School's history!

2010 Incoming Freshman Auditions RESCHEDULED |
|
The YHS Audition Procedures have been due to snow. Yorktown and Washington Lee will be holding their auditions on Friday, February 19th.
Yorktown's auditions will take place from 4 - 6:30 pm in the Yorktown High School Band Room, Room 1-D. Please email

by Thursday, 2/18 to confirm your student's attendance.
The band room is accessible from the farthest door on the right as you enter the YHS Parking Lot.
All students will be required to play their festival march, major scales, chromatic scale, and sight-reading.
