Tuba-thon Current Results |
|
|
The Band Booster Board has found high quality, barely used tubas at a great price, to replace our aging fleet which is in constant need of repair. Typically selling for $8,233, a number of corps are selling their marching tubas from this year for $2,975 - a savings of $5,258 per instrument. We have placed three on hold, but we may lose out to other groups if we cannot raise enough funds to pay for them. Please help us kick off this prelude to Band Day, which will help the band program for years to come. All of the donations received at the Spring Concert on May 26th will be added to the Tuba Campaign fund. To donate, click the "Donate" button

Drum Corps International Comes to Arlington! |

The 2010 Drum Corps International Tour returns to the Nation’s Capitol this summer as DCI Salutes America on Saturday, June 26. Taking place at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Va., this event will feature six World Class corps including the Bluecoats, Boston Crusaders, Crossmen, Jersey Surf, Phantom Regiment and Spirit.

I am pleased to announce the results of a highly successful season for the Yorktown Indoor Color Guard and Drumline. After months filled with rehearsals, competitions, snow cancellations, and lots of hard work, both groups arrived at the culmination of their season this weekend in Chesapeake, Virginia.
