2016 Chili Cook-Off
Come to the Yorktown Band Chili Cook Off! This event will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm in the Yorktown High School Cafeteria. Admission is free! Tickets will be sold for chili-tasting and other activities. Registration forms for chili competitors are due by Friday, April 8.
Join us for delicious homemade chili and live music featuring YHS students and teachers. Activities will include the Pie-Eating contest, a Moon Bounce, Silent Auction, and Raffle.
Chili Cook Off: Do you have a secret family recipe for chili? Consider entering our chili contest in one of the 3 categories: meat, veggie and dessert! Prizes will be awarded for the People’s Choice and Judges’ Choice. Enter the chili competition, or just come as a chili fan. Come taste them all!

Chili T-shirts: 2016 design T-SHIRT OFFER! Chili Cook-Off T-shirt(s) are available for purchase for only $10 each. To pre-order your t-shirt(s), click here. T-shirt forms are due by Monday, March 28 – Extended to April 1!.
What Should You Bring?
*Bring CASH. Tickets will be sold 2/$1. 1 ticket (50cents) will get you a sample of chili, and 8 tickets ($4) will get you a full bowl. Bake sale items and refreshments will also be available for 1-2 tickets depending on the size of the item.
*Moon Bounce and Henna Painting – 4 tickets
*Pie-Eating Contest – 3 tickets and sign up in advance in either Mr. Bersh’s or Mr. Rinker’s classrooms.
*In addition to your appetite, also make sure you bring enough cash or a checkbook for the Silent Auction. NOTE: All items won must be paid for and picked up at the end of the event.
